Default LS3 Ignition coil question

So im trying to figure out what coils to get for my new crate Ls367/480 from GM performance. I see there are round and square style coils. Im looking for used OEM coil packs. Are there any differences in performance or fit ?

Little background on my set up. I previously had an LS1 with my Holley terminator x ecu. Also used the holley motor harness on it. Im just wanting to mate everything to the new Ls3 crate engine and plug and play. Should i be using gen 3 coils ? Or gen 4 coils ? Round ? Or square ? Also if anyone has some used Oem coil packs for sale let me know.

I run D510C coils on both of my builds with zero problems. They're what came factory on my SS, and decided to get them for my Formula as well. Any coil will work, really. People have preferences, and I'm sure someone else will chime in.

yeah just not sure which to buy. I heard the ls1 coils have a weaker signal and issues with interference

I asked this same question to a notable tuner and I've been running the stock LS1 coils on the 427 since 2015.

Agreed!! I'm still running my OEM 2000 C5 Corvette LS1 coils. Never had any reason to change them. They flat out work! They're 25 years old, and on their 3rd engine (OEM LS1, Darton ls1 block 427, and now on a built LS7 427 engine) If it ain't broke, don't fix it.......
