So I was watching an older Engine Masters as they compared Holley ultra low rise, low rise, mid rise and high rise LS3 intakes I noticed they had the steam vents blocked off front and rear at least it looked that way. Just running on the engine dyno. Electric water pump.Is that because of the short runs on the dyno?

 

It certainly doesn't hurt to have the steam vents on a street car but I'd think a bubble would eventually work it's way out of the overflow bottle on a fbody since it vents to atmosphere.
