Finishing my ls3 6.0 build and have discovered that the crankshaft damper attaching bolt ( and also the installer bolt) have a bunch of play when screwed into the crank. The old bolt I took out has also had a bunch of play. Is this common to an LS?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

 

It's normal to have some play with threads. Especially larger sizes.
