Engine swap ECM recommendations Folks, I am sure this topic has been well covered, but I will still introduce it anyway. We are swapping in an LS3 from a 2012 Camaro into my friend's 69 Camaro.
We have the LS3 and it will have a basic re-build with a mild cam.
For an ECM, what is a les expensive, but not too complicated solution other than a Holley Dominator EFI...I am not up for taking a stock ECM and wiring it into the car, unless there are detailed instructions....So, I am open to suggestions....

I've good luck with Speartech and Howell Fuel Injection.
They can supply the stock GM ECM, custom engine harness and a base tune in the ECM for your combo.
You will still need a chassis or drive tune after you have it running.

If you are keeping the dbw tb, the Chevrolet Performance LS controller kit # 19354328.
It’s meant to install LS3 crate engines swaps like you are doing. Even includes the dbw gas pedal, ecm, O2 sensors, MAF sensor and harness. This is exactly what you are doing. Base tune will be in it. Tune it when the cam is upgraded. Going 4L80 for the trans, no computer? For a few bucks more you can get the one for the 525 hp crate motor. Again with the tune.

Current performance is a sponsor here call jared tell him what your doing it his bread and butter hell send you a turnkey everything, That swap was so 15 years ago theres no smoke n mirrors or boogie men to worry about working out. Unbox it wire it up hit key done.
