Well, with results posted of how the LS2 compared to an LS6 and FAST 90; what are it's gains over a regular LS1 intake? I'm asking because my LS2 is ordered and I already have my cam here and am saving up for Stage II heads. Should i just try to sell it now and get an LS6; or go with it, because it will be an upgrade from an LS1?
The LS6 intake manifold is a very strong piece. It is a much better manifold for a stock, slightly modified, or all out cathedral port LS engine, IF you send it to TPiS and have them convert it to use a LS2/LS3/LS7 90 mm throttle body.
I had mine converted and with no other changes, except tuning, my bolt-on only LS6 showed the following improvements. Yes, my engine was tuned before the installation of the 90 mm throttle body:

TPiS, the company that does the conversion of your LS6 manifold also did some back-to-back testing of a convertered LS6 - 90 mm manifold versus a 90 mm F.A.S.T. manifold on a highly modified LS engine:

The price of the TPiS 90 mm LS6 manifold is approximately $350, with your LS6 manifold as an exchange.

^^+1 i did the same with my LS6 intake. i sent it to TPiS. the price is just right.
furthermore, i put a NW 92mm tb against the snout, and it was not that much to make it match.
i did a lot of research, and also came across the above table of TPiS's back to back test. this led me to getting the ls6 intake modded by them. great people to deal with as well.
i ran it with the 92mm on my 418, and with cyl 8 leaking coolant, it dyno'd 507/484, with 450 rwtq at 3k rpm!
imo, and honestly, i think this is the way to go.

Well, I guess since I've been researching this I might as well bring this thread back to life for one quick piece of info. Also, it's only gone 4 years untouched (since 2012) instead of the previous 8 years before someone became the "Thread Digger". I guess it's my turn now lol...
