Default L92 Heads on Iron Block

A friend of mine had this question..
Is there a Gen III 6.0l Iron Block that these Heads will not bolt on to? He said there was something different in the Bolt holes, or the spacing of them, something like that. I haven't heard anything, any info is appreciated.

As far as I know the bolt holes on every LS family engien are the same. The new LSX has extra holes. Maybe he was thinking about it???

the l92 heads will fit all Gen III blocks if the bore is big enough that is. all the head bolt holes are in the same place

The earlier blocks use the long/short head bolts.

Right, but as long as you have the right bolts, the heads will work fine.

This is a 6.0 Truck Engine, 4.000" Bore from the Factory. I think it's a LQ4.. Sounds good though, pretty much what I hat gotten so far from my research.
Time to start building.
