Default Stock Manifolds, LM, and TSP Catted Y???

Hey guys i just bought an 01 WS6 and it came with the original SLP LM system....it has a great rumble to it now with absolutly no rasp....from searching around on here i seem to have found out that any kind of headers and LM combo is rediculously loud and raspy. I plan on switching the exhaust eventually to a B&B or Magnaflow with pacesetters and Catted Y....BUT until then im looking for a little more rasp and loudness. If i got the catted TSP y pipe or another catted Y that bolts up to stock manifolds would it do anything for the sound ??? I think i might need a new drivers side cat anyway and like i said eventually i will be switching to pacesetters and a new catback??
Just looking for a litte more loudness factor for right now....and a usable Y pipe when switch to headers and B&B

thanks guys
