Hm, I was under the impression that all 07 'lades had the L92 head. I do not know about visual cues that it is an L92 head, but the part number is 12582714. You can get them at pretty good prices new. Check out SDPC, they can get them for you with upgraded springs to .650 lift for 800ish.

Look for heads with casting numbers 823 or 5364.

My understanding is that there are at least three casting numbers made for L92 heads and that the two mentioned above are the regular production heads. (One was a pre production). You can search through the SLP posts to get a bit more info on the difference between the two available castings. One is considered a "bare" casting and the other is considered a finished one. As I understand it, it seems to have more to do with the surface texture of the two heads. There are other differences between the intake port cores of the two castings but they are relatively minor.

Hope this helps.

Is there much of a difference between the L92 head and the L76 head?

I believe they use the same head castings.
