The AIT sensor is located on the bottom of the MAF Mass Airflow Sensor, which is located directly above the upper radiator hose. If you reach under your MAF while the engine is warm, your hand will get burned by the radiator hose. So the sensor is reporting hoter air intake temperature than your engine is actually taking in and it pulls timing, which kills performance. I put a heat wrap on mine to separate the sensor from the radiator hose. <--NON-SPONSOR INFO REMOVED-->
The real fix is to buy a vector air intake temp relocation kit.

try the MS-4 and get some nice dual valve springs before you swap heads. That cam has a very nice flat torque curve for its size. You will pick up a lot of power for a cam swap. It wouldn't cost much or be too hard to remove your ls2 intake and have it ported and port matched to your heads and have the TB ported also. Then think about heads if your not satified. You will probibly pick up 50 rwhp with the above mods.

I think the power your making is pretty good for your mods. I say throw like a shot on there, nothing crazy maybe like 75-100hp take the car to the track and have some fun with it. You lose no driveability with n20 and you don't have to spray it all the time

Maybe you have a bad batch of springs.. I believe the original poster of the Comp 918 thread said he felt a drop in power which caused him to pull his valve covers and check out the springs - finding 10 of 16 broken.

I seriously doubt that someone broke 10 of 16 springs and he's now just looking for more performance. His engine would have been ruined a long time ago.
