Really happy with my Katech covers and coil racks.. I get a lot of compliments on them and it makes working on the engine easier.

Speed Inc.. it has the helix so it just pops into the factory location.

I took the breather apart and had the top coated to match the headers (comes in chrome) and then epoxied it back together.

Does GM make smooth covers? I seen them on a motor in a magazine before but never anywhere for sale? Just like the ones that say Chevrolet but with no words.

Has anyone seen stock valve covers with the bosses cut off (smoothed out) and then polished or painted? Coils relocated of course.

That seems to be a good solution and a custom look to me. I wonder why no one seems to do that?

I agree. nice work steve! you should see what I did with that center stone I picked up form you the wife was so happy she hasn't bitched about my LS7 454 build for the B4C. guess that means the 57 Nomad is going to cost me some serious Ice.

good luck on getting that thing back on the road.
