FAST 90 intake on a gto ls2 question.

Default FAST 90 intake on a gto ls2 question.

Im thinking of taking the fast 90 off my T/A since I have decided to park it for a few years. My question is it a direct bolt up or do I have to modify?

heres what you need to do:

1. you need to either get some offset brackets or even some big washers to hold down the fuel rail (fuel rail wont line up but its close to fitting)
2. you need to either get a extension harness, or cut back on the wire loom and move the map sensor to the rear of the manifold.
3. you will need to get some nuts for the tb bolts, there is now thread holes, you need to just put the bolt all the way through and put a nut on it.
4. you need to transfer your top cover bolts from your ls1 car to your gto.

that about it, it physically bolts your heads and everything. pm if you have anymore questions.

The power steer tank was too close on mine and the engine lift tabs had to come off the back as the fast is a deeper manifold. ls1gto.com has some good info on the fit.
I spaced out the power steering tank about an inch with some longer M12's I have the old 4 door GT8 equiv of the gto/monaro.

Is it worth the trouble of switching? Anyone have any hp #'s on this?

You will also need smaller orings on your fuel injectors and yes it is worth switching. Depending on what else you have done it is around 20 HP.

you dont necessarily need them, i didnt change them and they went in, you just need to push harder, but if you have them it isnt a bad idea
