Default Saw a new LS3 crate motor over on eBay for sale!

It's NOT my auction, I'm in Dallas...not sure who's it is, but it started at $5K no reserve...item 170136809117. These will make some great starting points for a stroker (or not) motor for lots of different applications!

Just FYI. Wonder what the dealer / vendor cost on these are? Take care. Dave

Nice...it looks authentic based on the manifold with the groove in it! Wonder how much it would cost to get this thing running since it has no harness or computer? It says you can use other 2005 and later computers compatible with a 58X reluctor wheel, but you wold still have to make all kinds of mods to the harness to get it to work. Seems to me like it would cost to much to get going...i think the better idea would be to wait until someone wrecks there brand new 2008 vette and take everything you need for the swap from it!
Even if someone found out where to get the new 2008corvette pcm and wiring harness from i don't think any of the main tuning software (hptuners...etc) has created a program for it anyway. I heard Lgmotorsports were one of the first to get the tuning software for it, but it hasn't been released to the public yet. Anyone interested, heres the auction... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2008-...mZ170136809117

I was interested myself in it as it only started at $5k or so. I checked into the auction and it's the same guys that own www.gmcopo.com (cool stuff over there). First engine sold and was shipped, but he has another one he may list or keep. If it all works out, the LS3 engines are a good deal for a starting point.

The LS3 uses the L92 block which has the crooked sleeve issue. That's important only if you plan to resleeve, in which case the LS2 is a better block.
