Default LS7 Intake Manifold

Hi. Does anyone offer any aftermarket intake manifolds for the LS7? If so, what is available? Any custom painting of the factory manifold? Please advise.

GM makes one also wilson or hogan for a custom one.

Either you drop 2-3k on it or you go with the LS7. SDPC has a good deal on the LS7 and they have a painter as well. Just bought an LS7 setup from them and had them paint it SOM. Should be just about shipping today, I think Brian at Scoggin said he was going to post a pic of it.

any one try a carb intake with elbow & 105 mil T/B ..thats a cheaper higher flowing deal !!! if it fits

We have had the best results w/the Beck. Either way look at our 95 & 100mm billet throttle bodies for it. Cable operated ones are in stock.

so are you saying ls7 is crap/carb intake is crap/ beck is good ????

ls7 chokes out just like any other Stock manifold

Carb- Depending on if it's a Vette of F-body it will not clear the cowl or hood with a conventional elbow, the sheetmetal elbows really hurt flow and they have to be ported to get the most out of them.

Beck/hogan/wilson- Custom manifolds tailored to fit your needs, they will wok great but cost you $$$$

ls7 manifold is really tough to beat for the money, especially when ported, mine for example on my personal car flowed 361cfm through the manifold, attached to 380 cfm ls7 head, which i feel isnt that bad for a gm manifold. as far as the wilson ls7 manifold, i am personally not impressed i have seen a back to back with ported ls7 and it nearly gets beat by the ported ls7 manifold, plus the heat soak that will accumulate because of the metal manifold just laying on tp of the valley cover with no air gap at all.
on my personal race i am running ls7x warhawk heads with gm single plane (port matched/fully ported) with accufab 4 barrel tb, but first i am going to run ls7 manifold on it, then switch to the single/tb combo and see how much i pick up. but for the money the gm ls7 manifold is not that bad.
