JMHO..... they hang into the head...... they seriously need to be gasket matched to the head to be optimal. again.. just my honest opinion.
Why did GM make them like that. I have heard from numerous people that the GMPP carb manifolds need to be gasket matched because they ports dont line up with the heads. I will be sending mine to be extrude honed as well as gasket matched.
