Not too many aftermarket intakes (for a reasonable price) for this head yet. Hopefully a manufacturer will wake up and see the potential for this need.
Yep i agree,i guess we can take the L76 & Have it ported ,i wonder if It can Take theAbuse of the Huffer @ 14lbs on a 402 =800 rwhp

What size bore are you running on your build-up? It would need to be at least 4". The valves are too big to run on anything less than a 4" bore...forgot to mention that earlier in the thread...please forgive me...

SLP sells what you need if you need cable or TBW.

A friend of mine just got his 408 running. His Procharger is putting out 8-9 pounds of boost and he swears the L76 intake is flexing.

Yuk ,Thats Not good ,i havent Bit the bullet on these heads yet,for 1,theres not many options on the intake that i can run with these heads ,that scares me away from them, knowing i can throw a set of Lq9 or PRC heads on them without changing the Rollerrockers or worrying wether or not the L76 intk is flexing @ 14 lbs of boost is another reason why i am sceptical about them ,They are priced right for sure ,but when i have to change out rollerrockers,Intake, etc to make them work, then i just spent the xtra money i just saved into the other parts ,thats why i am seriously considering the LQ9 or the PRC Heads

SLP has you covered, check it out. http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=12509

Or the complete package:

You can run the carb intake with an elbow and 105mm/90mm TB if you're really worried about that. Far as I'm aware of, nobody has had any issues with GM manifolds and FI. The FAST has (supposedly, haven't seen pics or proof) blown up, but never a GM intake.

SDPC will swap the fly-by-wire L-76 throttle body out for a 90mm cable type for you at less cost than converting one.

you dont need different exhaust rockers. they are the same as LS1s and all the rest. you just need the intake rockers, and the different rocker stands.

ok first, the ls3 and the l92 are the same head. they have retangle intake ports that mandate a specific intake. they use the same exhaust rockers as any other ls series engine. if your concerned about an intake holding under boost AND want to spin to 7k then you will need an aluminum intake. for a little more in price you can have a carbed intake with elbow and throttle body. there are a few sponsers on here that make elbows and sell TBs.
