Question Reliability

Has anyone heard of a reliability of the L92 427? My understanding is that the bore is significant enough that it could effect the life of the motor. Is this a true statement or can someone give me some insight on this. Thanks.

Bore has nothing to do with the reliability in this case. The bore is the same as the 416 l92 and basically same as a stock l92 maybe a hair over. The stroke is whats different. It uses a 4.1" stroke. Some say the big stroke can cause problems, but talk to sdpc they sell these set ups and assure their will be no issues with the set up. I've read about plenty of people using this set-up a lot of race teams too. I think some of the guys in the cadillac ctsv racing program were running it without any probs.
