LS7 Intake flow related question

I have seen numbers of 330cfm posted as the stock flow rate of the GM LS7 intake.

How is this actually calculated/measured? Is this per intake runner flow rate?

The LS7 has a 90mm opening, and by my rough reconning, a big old hole like that could be able to gulp air at a rate of 800 or 900cfm.

Inquiring minds woul dlike to know the answer, Thanks.

that would be per port @330.

Thanks - so thats the effective flow rate available to each cylinder - this makes more sense.

Does anyone have the intake runner length and opening dimensions for each end of the runner (to calculate volume and taper) for the LS7 unit?

What about similar info for the Fast 90 and LS6 units?
