Default are LS7 valve covers different?

Like the title says, I'm wondering if the LS7 valve covers are different than LS1 or L92 covers.

Default Rocker Cover Question

Externally, they appear to be the same as LS6 or LS2 Corvette covers.

I don't know about the internal baffling arrangement, but suspect that it's the same.

I'm using the LS2 Corvette covers on mine and everything clears o.k., but I'm running a very mild cam and the stock rockers.

I'm also running the LS2 Corvette case vent/PCV system with no issues, but I again invoke the very mild cam claim.

Yes, the passenger side is different. It doesn't have the ability to accept a screw in type of oil filler cap. It is set up for a fixed plug since oil is filled through the dry sump tank.

Thanks! I was really just wondering if the LS7 heads would accept raised LS1 valve covers and it looks like it will from what you're responding with.

Yes, but the LS1 covers have baffles that may hit offset rockers.

The only issue with breaking/grinding the baffles is that they are there to direct oil away from the cover vents.

And the vents lead to the Tb or intake so the potential is there to create an issue with pushing/sucking oil into the intake.
