Default ??s about a LS7 install

I have a 1932 pro street that I am going to install a LS7 in. I have several questions. I am glad that I found this site. I know there are people on here that can help. first of all I am getting the motor from a wrecked vette. So I can get some of the parts I need, before I go to the aftermarket suppliers. So here goes.

1- what will I need to do for the fuel system. I am guessing someone makes an aftermarket system I can use.

2-what about running my turbo 400 or a 700R4, what is involved in using one of these trannys. I heard there was a issue with the flywheel location & flywheel.

3-will I be able to use the vette computer, or will I need to go with something else. Not sure what I am getting into here. I can get the throttle pedal. I know chevy offers one but I think it is non programmable. All the electronics are a mystery two me.

4- are there any other problems I am over looking that we need attention?

5-what about the sensors

Any help will be much appreciated.

1. Welbro intank fuel pump kit (its what most of the people around here upgrade to for there Gen III/IV fuel needs).
2. 4th gen Fbody flexplate and hopefully the 700R4 will line up to the bell housing holes in the back of the block.
3. Never done a conversion I'm not sure... The ECM in the Vette's control more then just the motor. Check in the Conversion section of the forums. There are alot of people that have retro'd a LS7 into Monte Carlo's, RX7, etc...
4. Custom engine mounts, & Headers are the first things that come to mind.
5. cam, crank, and knock sensors from the engine harness. O2 sensors (pre cat) for SD tune setup...

Yep get into the https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-swaps-28/ section and ask around...

Give a call to Yank Trans/Converters, http://www.converter.cc/
The wiring and sensors, FBW gas pedal, ECM, etc. Speartech, http://www.speartech.com/

That should fix you up.
