Default I got a problem with Knock sensors in my LS2 conversion

I have replaced my broken LS1 engine with an LS2 stroker 402. I know the knock sensors are to be screwed into the side of the LS2 block. (And I have the cam & knock sensor extension harness.) The problem is that I have FLP headers (they are 6 to 7 years old) which provide insufficient clearance for the pass side knock sensor with the plug attached. The plug will touch one of the header tubes.

Is there an alternative location for the pass side knock sensor?

Are there smaller knock sensors that will work for me?

Didn't someone have this issue and mount the sensor to the head or something like that? Then found it actually worked semi well.

These headers are 1 3/4"...

I will check the heads for a mounting position.

Any of the spare bolt holes for engine mounts on the side of the engine are the same thread (M10x1.5) as LS1 knock sensors.

Thank you for the replies. I found out that the thread is 10mm x 1.5, as shown above.

The threaded holes in the ends of the heads are same thread, so this is a doable option for me, the extension harness will easily reach the front of the pass side head.

Also, I may thread the hole that is marked "normal" in the diagram above, that is another doable optrion for me. HSV-GTS-300: thank you for the diagram, its most helpful.
