Not enough information. What are your goals? What intake? Solid or hydraulic? stick or auto? Compression?

Sorry more info M6 trans / intake ls7 or the fast ls7 if its out by then / hydraulic need help picking out a cam to ? / compression 9.5 or 10 to 1 but running a F1c procharger thinking at 14psi will see with dyno time. max rpm 6500. Want it to be a strong engine down low for just street driving(long high way trips at 1750 rpms) with a hard mid and 800- 1000hp top.

Can we assume that you are talking about the small bore LS7 ET heads? Standard LS7 bore heads won't work. You'll loose too much compression when the valves beat against the liners the first time you turn it over. I haven't seen too much info on the small bore LS7 heads.

I sold a set of 4 inch bore LS7s last year. Real nice pieces. Depending on your cam selection, you should be just fine down low. You're not gonna have a low end torque monster, but its not as if its going to kill it.

I tried the ET245 on my 402, very weak low end.

Yea id try for a 225CC head...more than enough top end for the big power upstairs but still small enough (on a 402) for low RPM tq production. I dont think you can go wrong with either of the big 3 for their 225 setups.

Ported LS3s depending on pistons and CR are a nice match.

You dont have a dyno graph do you? What was your set up?

I was looking at the ls7 heads. Cause i wanted to use the ls7 intake. Would low end power big alot better stepping up to the 427.

Whats the intake CC on ported LS3 heads

LS3 heads come out to 64 cc with .040 off. The key is to not open up the 260 cc intake runner. The LS7 intake would be nice but-

So if the ls3 has a 260cc intake runner and the ET LS7 are 250cc it would be better for me to get the ls7 for low end power their 10 cc smaller?

There is a lot more to head magic than runner size. Not to be evasive but there are so many variables it is hard to pin down. 500/480 rw is somewhat expected beyond that, it gets speculative..

Default LS7 etp

You will not lose your low end with the LS7 4inch bore heads. I know for a fact. My N/A street engine has no issues with a 338/246 cam. Now you also have boost behind it, you would not have an issue. We also offer our LS7 head in a 230cc runner volume with a 2.080 valve. That will definitely work with your setup.
