Default Custom plug wires assembly help

Anyone have any tips on making custom plug wires? I've made a handful of sets. I've had a couple of the optispark ends come off. We've got the crimper as tight as you can get it in the vice.

To be perfectly honest and not trying to be funny or a wise ***. Try a different electrode. The crimping ears on the Taylors aren't as long as the MSD's from what I've noticed with the wires I make. What part numbers are you using from Taylor?

Got any pics of the MSD or wires that had the ends crimped on without the boot?? I'm using the Taylor 46052 opti spark end kit and their aluminum block to crimp. I'm almost thinking about milling my aluminum block(43395) so it crimps it more. I called MSD months back and they said they didn't sell the ends seperately.

the 46052 is the straight black lt1 boot right for the coil end which is the opti-spark right? or is it a 90* Has 10 to a package?

I'll see if I can take a close enough pic. Also I use the pro crimp pliers from MSD as well. I'm sure it makes a little difference, you can audjust the electrode in the jaw while your crimping to get the best grip. I make custom wires for people as well but I use only MSD
If I were you and you are going to be making a few sets, the pliers are worth the money. Or if you want I can take a stab at crimping some for you and see if they come apart? I'll make one and you check it out and see if you want a set?

Ok here is the MSD on the left and the Taylor on the right. The MSD ear measures .428 the Taylor .348

Whats size wire is that Crane?

Not trying to be a sales person right now either but the MSD 8.5 is good stuff.
