I have the QTP lS2 model.

Although it is an excellent piece, And damn good looking, if you are running a double roller t-chain, BE PREPARED to take a dremel to the inside. I was pissed off when mine didnt fit with the N-motion double roller and melling pump.
They clearenced MOST of the places that needed to be taken care of, but not everywhere. So if your runnning a bouble roller, get out your dremel.

Hit up Arun over on the "Other" forum. He's got a solution for around 125 bucks..

As with anything, when the new cover comes out, and demand decreases, prices will come down.. That piece needs nearly ZERO structural integrity, so it can be made out of whatever material will work.

That being said, I love my QTP cover....I just wish for the price, they would concentrate on a perfect fit for double roller setups. cause there is ALOT of material left. Unlke the stock cover..

Which one? I checked ls1.com and camaroz28.com and neither had a user named arun.

You can cut a stock LS2/3 and use grey Permatex. I have done it a dozen times with perfect results. Cost = ~$3 Email for pictures.

Thanks, I have a C5 and it is a pita to get in for a cam swap so this way if I ever want to change this will be well worth the money The cam I am going with is a bit larger than I originally was planning so this will easily pay for itself if I dont like it.

I cancelled my order after waiting 8 weeks and it was the last part I needed to finish the long block. Guess I should have waited.

Looks nice though.

Even worse they gave me a LS2 cover plate with the cam sensor hole. I called edelbrock and they said that I might have to wait until they do another production run, mid august
I think I am sending it back
