Default 2008 GMC Sierra 2500
Hey guys,

A buddy of mine just bought a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500 with the 6.0 in it and is looking for a cat back. Anyone know of any aftermarket systems? Its a crew cab short bed.

I'd hit the Performance Trucks tab above,

But... My 04 Silverado really responded to the Gibson Super Truck exhaust I put on it, and it sounded sick!!
Unfortunately, they only make the ST for standard cabs..
I also did a stainless single cat-back from Gibson on my Quad-Cab (V-8) Dakota, I'm happy w it also (but it is much more mellow than the Super Truck).

GM actually has catbacks for these. also corsa has a pretty sick sounding one my old man put on his truck.

I think you are wrong about Corsa (I didnt see one for an 08 short bed crew cab)... and who the hell wants a factory built cat back.

Catbacks are a waste of money. Just weld in a magnaflow muffler. That's what I did. If I were to do it all over again, I'd keep the stock muffler and still have my cutout. The cutout gave me a very noticeable gain when I bypass the magnaflow muffler.

I'm not going for the cut out/open exhaust sound. Looking for better tone and a little more pick up. I've already got an obnoxiously loud car in the garage.

I've been looking for exhausts for my 08 Sierra and I'm fairly certain I saw a listing for crew cab/short bed on the Corsa site. And the GM Accessory cat-backs are usually (not always) produced by aftermarket companies...

Several options for the 1500. Nothing at this point for 2500 standard beds.

Yup. Your right. For instance, (not sure about and GM) but the Chrysler exhaust for the PT Cruiser is simply a Borla.

Corsa, give them a call and see if they have one in developement.

Love mine, it was super easy to install, looks great, sounds awesome, and its all 304 stainless so it will never rust out.
