Default LS7 Cold Air Intake

I currently have an stock 06 Z07 and I am intending to do a few standard mods to wake it up a little. I am interested in either the Halltech Killer bee hive or the WCC Hurricane simply because I like the way they shield the air filter from the heat of the engine. If anyone has had any expierience with one of these systems or has anything to say about another CAI tell me what you think. thanks

The placement of the MAF sensor into the intake air stream is very critical. I can say that from experience trying to tune some where that placement is not a priority.
Ok, I favor the Halltech because it does not leak and the MAF placement is proper.
