Default LS3 Bosch map sensor to LS1/LS2/LS6/LS7 Delphi MAP sensor conversion harness

I'm not sure if anybody has noticed, but the LS3 intake uses a new MAP sensor made by Bosch. If you are going to run this intake in a car that was previously equipped with any other LS engine with the Delphi MAP sensor this presents a problem. Since the Bosch sensor bolts in and the Delphi sensor clips in, this prevents you from simply swapping the sensor. I have developed an adapter to adapt the LS3 MAP sensor into any harness that uses the Delphi MAP sensor.

I'm looking for somebody to test this adapter and make sure that it works. If you are running this combination in a car soon and are able to do an in-car check for me, please PM or email me (jason@katechengines.com) and I will send you a free sample.

interesting! I was wondering the same thing. I have an L92 intake, and Im using the LS# manifold although it did not come with the map sensor. I was trying to adapt the L92 to the ls3 manifold via a tapped fitting and a vacuum line. Looks like I wont need to now.

Jason, I wish I could help you. I'd love to throw that on my car and test it for ya. I probably won't be installing that motor for another couple of months. I will probably buy one from you though!

I can test it immediately. I have a electrical adapter made up and use that with a little "L" clamp that is not the best.

Has anyone verified that the sensor's output is the same (MAP vs. Voltage)? I expect that it is, but it's nice to be sure.

The adapter has been tested successfully and is awaiting production pieces and final pricing.
