Only 15 miles? Come on, you built it to drive right?
Stay away from long extended highway drives at steady speeds. Stick to start and stop driving where the load on the engine is greater, constantly checking for leaks or unusual noises.

well Im unsire of my air fuel ratios, thats why Im not driving too much on it yet...

so far Ive seen no leaks, oil pressure is constant and slightly over 50 at cold start and above 40 at full warm up...

I have a couple of noises one sounds like I have a slight exh leak, but didnt spot any, so It may just be the sound of the car, because at cruise I dont hear it...

Also something is banging on the underside of my car or sounds like that, maybe the exh hitting my crossmmember... But I dont think anything unusual from my engine...

Sounds like the Y-pipe is hitting the floorpan. Has the car been tuned yet? Do you have a datalogger?

I have that also. It sounds like exh leak, but I have tightened everything up as tight as it will go. Must be new motor?

Good to know. Get it tuned asap. Datalogger is just a scan tool. HPTuners has a scan tool so I'm sure your friend will scan it.

UPDATE::

I changed my oil today.... and saw a lot of metal on the magnet which im sure is normal...

We welded a 02 bung to the exh today at a 2 oclock angle to the Y pipe after the o2 sensor.... and then we drove it today... We kept hearing detonation at 3500rpms and higher at WOT... We had the wideband connected to it...

the Air fuel ratio at WOT was between 12.8 and 13.1.... which was good... at cruise I was at 14.7ish and at idle it looked a bit lean, but I dunno how idle is supposed to look (also it wasnt fully warmed up) but I was seeing numbers of 15:1 and even 16:1 at idle (not fully warmed up)

anyways, Im at work and am hurrying up to type fast so my boss wont see this

(my comp isnt working at home)

is my car safe to drive still if Im getting these detonation at WOT above 3500rpms??

I also had a passenger with me... when I drove it home after I went to 4000rpms at WOT in 2nd or 3rd gear and I didnt get the detonation that time...

Check your PCV system. Oil mist getting into the intake manifold will make your engine rattle. A catch can is your friend here.

How much knock-retard were you seeing? What sort of timing were you seeing? What were your IAC steps at idle? What is your idle rpm hoovering around? What were the O2's doing, as in what were your LTFT's?

All I can tell you at this point is.... My idle rpm is about 950RPMs and pretty steady

I ordered my intake manifold today... FAST 92, with a PTM 95mm... I got this because I may port my own FAST 92....

Would my SLP lid work with this?? Also is a stock MAF gonna restrict me? I have a 85mm one as well, but am unsure whether I should use it or not (the car now is supposedly running on a speed density tune)....

Im scheduled to get dynoed on Dec 3 at RPM....

Lastly, can I install my int manifold and 36# injectors ... n My buddy has HP tuners, can I recalibrate them? or is this a bad idea?? any ideas on how to do so also, would be appreciated.. thanks

Ditch the MAF if you're already SD, although then your lid will be the restriction in your intake tract.

You can install the int manifold and 36# injectors. Just make sure that your buddy knows how to properly scale the injectors, and you should be fine. But given the fact that you're already seeing KR, i would hold driving until you can actually get it tuned. Running lean can be just as damaging to a new motor as running too rich. Toss that int on, and you may push it too lean fyi.
