Shoot me some info about what you're doing with the car, approximate power levels, desired compression and heads/cam details, etc and I'll put together a detailed quote for you that breaks down every component in our short-blocks. We've got some of them on special currently, and with the purchase of any in stock short-block you get a free cradle for shipping ($55 value).

I'll jump on this train too.

Long story...but I have a L76/L92 intake/heads and a GM hot cam in the box waiting for an engine to put them in. I still need to get the rocker arms and a few other small parts.

I'm running a 69 Camaro with a LS1 right now modified with SLP stage III heads/cam, etc.

Goal - I want to go with as big of cubes I can afford in a short block to put the stuff on top with a 24 tooth crank. We are working out a deal to retro my harness to go DBW. The idea is to pull the LS1, drop in the LS????, and plug it in...reprogram...and go.

All of this mated up to a 4L60E with 2,800 stall TCI and 3.5 gears in a Ford 9" out back.

I want to be able to sell the LS1 to cover some of the cost, so I need a fairly complete short block so I don't rape the old one for covers...parts...etc. Coils and sensors aren't an issue.

I don't want to break the bank - not a competition car - just a fun cruiser.

So - PM or post your short block recommendations for me please.

Well my builder has past away. But on a lighter note welcome home brother LOL! But you really cant go wrong with texas speed or HKE. Im not knocking the other guys just never seen their product in action or first hand. I honestly would look at who stands behind their builds better. With boost anything can happen LOL!

Turbo or sc? Can't go wrong with a 370ci Iron block if you're going turbo. Bore an LQx .030 over and use the stock crank, use rods and pistons of your choice, and your G2G.
