383 stroker questions Well I may have some money come this summer and started thinking about stroker possibilities.
Assuming full bolt-ons, FAST setup etc., what could i expect with a 383 stroke, good set of ported heads and a big(but streetable) cam? And do they seem to last on the ls1 block? Or would it be wise to just save up for an iron ls2 block and build a 402/408 setup? I was looking to spend no more than 6-8 grand on the 383 complete. Thanks
