Default new 402 numbers comming!

first couple of pulls for power on engine dyno had 11 degrees of timming andan out of injectors (42#) going to 60# ) at 4000rpm. still made 511 on engine dyno. Looking for over 600 n/a when finished at 32 to 36 degrees of timming and more fuel. Can't wait to see what it will do in the car.

Are you saying you ran out of injector (42#er's) with only 511 HP on an engine dyno?

That is what the builder said running 107% at 4000 rpm. Going to get 60lb ones. Do not know exact cam specs yet but it is pretty big from what I understand!

I second that the 42#'s should be fine. I run 60# with only 50 psi and they are still overkill for my power

i thought the 42#should have been fine as well but just repeating what they said to me. I just don't want to spend the extra coin for injectors if i don't need it. Yes my numbers are at the crank but we are looking for 530 to 540 at the wheels. not sure on the exact specs of the cam either could that make that much of a difference with the tfs heads?

Are you sure they are 42# injectors? I would not drop any money until you find out what is going on!

I am not exactly sure the car came with an sts kit installed which comes with the injectors 42# and the prev. owner said they were on there so i will check monday before i order new ones. but with the 92/92 and the trick flows with a big cam would that make a difference in needing bigger injectors?
I believe they put the ls6 rails back on but i thought they would be fine for what i needed. It is running 11.5 compression and ls7 lifters and harland sharpe rockers.

because I blew the motor and decided that getting the sts where I needed to would be more money than I wanted to spend on top- of the motor build. plus builing the 402 turbo i had would have neede to be replaced along with adding intercooler aqnd so on. plus I like normally aspirated with big cam.
