Using 10-60w fully synthetic?

Using 10-60w fully synthetic? I am track daying my car frequently this year and want to protect the engine as much as possible, i have no oil cooler and when the engine gets real hot eg, WOT on the dyno being held on the brake for a while, i noticed oil pressure can drop to 19psi at idle, it comes back up to 30psi idle after it cools down. I was thinking a higher hot temperature grade could give me more piece of mind. There is Castrol edge Sport over here and it is a 10-60w grade. Cant hurt can it? I am in the UK so dont have the same choice of oils as you guys. Cheers.

10-60 seems a little much. I think that oil was created for BMW when they had problems keeping the M3 engine alive a few years ago. Plenty of people run a 50 wt for similar applications.

Yeah, don't watch it. As soon as I clicked on it, my Norton Anti-Virus shut it down due to suspicious activity.

Had a word with a local oil manufacturer, and he says all the race teams they supply use this stuff, i think i will give this a go.
