The none DR heads are an LS7 style head with thicker decks, smaller ports, and a 6 bolt design. Check out another thread here that shows and explains what the DR heads are all about.

Is there more info somewhere on the non-DR heads? What is the port volume?

First thing the person you talked with agt SEMA is not an engineer. He was certainly a major contributor to the team that has developed the LSX block and the LSX Heads.
I don't have the port volumes on the High Port LSX 6 Bolt DR heads. Hopefully I can pour them in the next few weeks.
The information on the LS7 Style as well as the LS3 Style heads is out there if you looked at the models on the rack last year and this year. Port Volumes should be the same as OEM on these heads. The changes will be in the thickness of the deck as well as the port walls. They will have the 6 bolt LSX blot pattern and will have larger spring pads.
That is all I know at this point.
