Default ls2 block strength vs fi 402

ok i have a sleeved ls1 with a 402 stroker je 4'' pistons h beam rods eagle crank billet steel main caps etc im about to put 2x gt 30/76 turbos on and im aiming for 500rwkw i knwo the ls1 block wont take it for long and its stuffed anyway will a ls2 block take the stroker and hold 500rwkw?
complete mod list it will get
eagle crank
billet steel mains
mains stiffner plate
all arp studs
je pistons
h beam rods
9 to 1 comp

Ok im a little lost on what your asking?

A well sleeved block is a very strong base. For only 500rwhp both a stock ls1 and ls2 block can easily handle that

I have stock main caps holding about 1000hp many other people doing it too. But if you have the money get billet caps. but i would put money else where.

ok sorry i was a bit unclear i have a ls1 that is sleeved it has all those parts already so its a 402 i will be putting twin turbos on and i want 500rwkw not hp thats 670rwhp i was just trying to find out weather i should put all my internals in a ls2 block as my ls1 block is stuffed anyway also where can i buy a brand new ls2 block

Default ls1 vs ls2

In talking with Steve @ RED, I think he mentioned that a sleeved ls1 block was stronger due to not having the vent holes around the main caps. So probably a ls1 block would have a stronger main area.

Though he has sleeved ls2 blocks that are F I pushing 900 > hp.
