i just fill mine till the stick says full, but i tell you with the baffles you really need to run the engine a few times before determining how much it really needs. i think i put in at least 7 normally.

Mine holds about 9 quarts, filling the filters and lines.

How long are your lines? Seems like a lot of oil. what level does your dip stick read with the 9 quarts?

Better and bigger head bolts wont do much ARP head studs are the best thing you can do after that you need the six bolt blocks cause the heads are flexing not the bolts

wheel to wheel finished the engine, erl provided the block worked over.. your question is best directed to Kurt Urban.

We machined this particular block to our dealer's specs but we do offer the "Bronze Lifter Bushings" as an option on all our LS applications. We have them for solid or hydraulic applications.

Sure there is another 125 lbs of weight on the front but it's worth it in the long run. 6 bolts anchoring 1/2 studs into iron is a much better design then aluminum with nitrous.

How much were you spraying?

From a 150 to 200. Only sprayed the motor 5 or 6 times and it had nothing to due with the tune etc. It's just the weakness of the block being aluminum.

The RHS block is what we're using for this build.

Thats a crock I ran 400 plus shot for years on a LS2 block. The LSX block is a great option for you but you have other issues

I didn't want the weight so I went LS3. I didn't think the additional cubes and 6 bolt heads with the warhawk were worth it based on my goals.

Don't tell me it's a "CROCK" as I'm sure you know everything about everything since your LS2 block ran a 400 shot for years and had good success. Good for you. My block thread stripped and the head stud let go on "one bolt" and it was time to go a different direction after that.

We run an LS3 block and went 5.33@139 at ~20psi (PT106) with as cast L92/LS3 heads. 1/2 Studs, at 3225lbs on 295/65 M/Ts.
