Default LS7 into WS6

Hi guys , i'm wondering if i want to install an LS7 engine into WS6 what i need to complete this setup ? i heared from my buddy i should install a dry sump ? is this true ?

I most likely wouldn't install with dry sump, depends on your budget.

Yes, you can have it the same way your current setup is. I have been for 2 years no issues. It's really no different than a normal motor swap. Just relocate the knock sensors to the side of the block and you will need a cam sensor extension harness. Let er eat.

yes/no you will need to run all C6Z accessories due to the belt position with C6Z06 dry sump, the balancer is out further with the larger oil pump. IMO its impossible to fit in an Fbody, i've seen it done with extensive amounts of work into few GTOs.

IMO I would run an ARE dry sump setup instead of LS7 anyway, and if thats not budgetable just run factory LS1 oil pump/pan pickup, you can make your factory balancer work with LS7 crankshaft, provided you use LS2 timing set.
