Default LS1 vs LS2 cam bearing difference

I see there are 2 different part numbers for LS1 and LS2 cam bearings I was wondering why they are different. Amybody know?

The ls1/ls6 cam has the reluctor for the CPS at the rear bearing journal, the ls2,3,7&9 have no reluctor on the cam, but on the cam gear. U can put the ls1/6 cam in all others, but to put a factory Ls2/7 style cam in a ls1 u need to use the ls2 timing cover, cam gear, and adaptor harness for the CPS.

So to put an LS1 camshaft into an LS2 block what bearing set should I use? I know about the gear and pickup etc just need to order cam bearings. Reusing my G5X4 in my LS2.

You need to use the bearings for the block. LS2 bearings in LS2 block.
