Apparently, I can't mention the engine builder because he isn't a sponsor and I am not sure what else I can mention, but I will try to stay as vague as possible so I don't **** anyone off
The build is a 404" LS2, 4in. stroke and 4.010 bore, factory LS2 block
solid roller and all the tricks to make a max effort naturally aspirated build using off the shelf parts.
There are plenty of pump gas builds with lsx blocks or sleeved blocks with 4.125 bores, but they wanted to use a factory block, with a small bore and large stroke to see how much power can be made with a Cathedral port head. This is not a pump gas engine as compression will be more than 14:1.

I will pass on updates as I am allowed and as soon as I know which issue it is coming out in, I will let everyone know.

Yeah, I always like a good build thread. I read up on ALL motors. I read Hot Rod, PHR, Car Craft, Mopar Action, GM High Tech Perf., etc...I was reading a build on a Darton Resleeved 6.1 Hemi stroked to 426 CI last night, and THEN I read teh Darton Resleeve Honda that Steve @ RED and the guys did awhile back... Damn little motor made like 400 HP NA.
Keep us updated/pics on this build...looks yummy so far!
