Default Another Stroker build...

I am about to pull the trigger on a stroker build for my LS2. I plan on keeping the same cam that is in my sig(i assume it wont be too smalll). I will be installing a FAST 92 and having my heads ported. I have been looking at 402, 404, and 427 stroker kits. I will also be upping to a 150-200 shot with a proper fuel system. I was wandering if there is a distinct difference btwn. the different kits and if one could be better than the other. Also, should i fork out the dough and get some TFS or AFRs? or will i be ok with the ported heads assuming they flow good and done properly.
-Thanks for any help

The differences between the 402, 404 and 427....all else being equal like you say....is more and more and more power. Get some ported L92 heads and a ported L76 intake. Make an easy 530 RWHP with a 427 and that cam will idle very smooth.

I'm going L92 427 with TFS 235 heads and FAST 92... You'll never regret going bigger, and the cost differential isn't huge. Just start with the 427.

That is one of the options I am looking at pretty closely, over and above all I want to keep the ls2 as it still has less than 10k miles, aluninum, and I will be piecing this together over a few months. Also, will the cam in my sig work well for this setup? Can an ls2 427 withstand a 200 shot through a plate kit? Would there be an advantage with going with a victor jr over the FAST with this setup?

I don't think spray is recommended going over 402 on an LS2......

With more stroke, compression height goes up (or down) however you want to look at it, so the piston crown gets shorter. You start adding FI, and the piston becomes the weak link. So, depending on HOW you get the cubes.....if you are getting most if it by the crank (stroke) or if you are gonna sleeve the block and get alot of the cubes from teh overbore and a little stroke. If you sleeved, you could go 4.125 x 4.00 and you can throw all the FI you want at it.
