ls1 with stock 243 heads what cam??? I have a 99 a camaro with all the bolt on mods with tru duals and m6. I just bought a set of stock 243 heads and was wondering what cam to go with. The car is mostly something I crusie around in but I also want something that does well at the track (well for a street car). any input????

Cams are personal, it depends on your taste. I personally think you can t go wrong with something in the 224/228 range. Its a safe, yet proven size for cam only cars.
I hate camshaft "pet" names, at least with specs the guy gets a feel for what is right.
But just by saying that, I know that you guys are all into your named camshafts, which obviously works....and sells cams..

try going to the Comp Cams website and downloading their Free Camquest programme and try it.
At least you'll see what might work for you.
