Default Ported l92 heads

I'm in the market for a set of ported L92 heads and I can't decide which way to go PRC from Texas speed or WCCH. Can some one post some results of either one.

You can't go wrong with Richard at WCCH. His L92's are a thing of beauty.

I also just got mine back from Lingenfelter....

All basically claim to flow the same, I think you just have to choose which you want.

There is more restraint required with L92/LS3s. If you after the intake runners you will mess them up. Results count, so chose your porter based on experience with those heads.

The best deal I found is Texas speed, but nobody has given any input on them.

There are places you can cut corners on an engine build and there are places you shouldn't.

Cheaping out on a set of heads is about the worst place you can cut corners. You get what you pay for in most instances.

That's strange, them being a sponsor and all.

WCCH is also a sponsor and a number of folks have recommended Richard. Kevin's (WKMD) car is a good example of everything working together. I give WCCH a couple of thumbs up. If you drove his car you'd probably get something else up.

The best overall bang-for-the-buck doesn't always come from the low-priced spread. (The double entendre was intentional.)

well when were talking about best deal out of companys such as texas speed, WCCH, lingenfelter, advance induction, etc i dont think it would be "cheaping out" by going with either one. all quality products

The original post asked for results and was trying to make a purchase decision based upon which ported head offered the best results. The postings subsequently changed to which head is the cheapest.

My point was, cheapest is not always best. Deciding on a critical part because it is $100 cheaper, is not a wise decision.

I fully agree that there are quality products available from those campanies, but picking one over the other on price alone will not yield the best performance results which is the ultimate goal.

You decide. The first 2 pics are an L92 head from one of the companies you mentioned. The larger pic is from WCCH. No contest in my mind.

WCCH
