You need the rockers that go with the L92 or L98 heads.
These have an offset intake piece.

The L98 is the 6.0L fitted to the Lumina and Caprice SS. These are the same head castings as the L92. You will also need the L76 intake which is also found on the Lumina and Caprice as these heads and intake go together and will then fit on the LS2 block.

p.s. Use the valve springs from the LS2 heads as they are better.

PM me as I'm after LS2 type heads.

Correct. You need teh L92 specific rockers. From GM, they are CHEAP. Might want to give Scroggin a call. That being said, if you plan on throwing some serious power at it, you MIGHT want to step up to a more stout rocker assembly (like from Comp or T&D), depending on cam selection and intended purposes of the motor.

I installed Yella Terra rockers on my L92 setup, and am very, very, very pleased:

Yeah, I looked at Yella, but here was the problem:

I could not get a straight answer from them. I originally called, and asked for an adjustable rocker (in @ Oct of last year) and they said they would debut it @ end of Dec, first of Jan. for $500-$600. So, I waited (and my build) for 'em. Then I called end of Dec, and they said that the rocker they just came out with would now NOT work for my spring pressure That I needed their OTHER rocker assembly that would not be out until April or May Why they did not know that when I first called back in Oct, I will never know. So, I stepped up and bought some T&D shaft. The rocker assemblies for L92 are scarce (but are getting better).

T&D or Comp is what I vote for. That being said, I have not heard any bad things about the machining or quality of Yella, and they are cheaper ($$$$) than T&D or Comp

You will need the LS3/L92 rocker supports and the stock rockers are fine and relatively inexpensive.

Stick with the stock rockers. You need to buy is 8 intake rockers ($12/ea), your current exhaust rockers will work on the L92 heads

http://www.sdpc2000.com/product/1256...ArmIntake.aspx

You will also need new rocker stands. ($8/ea)

the rockers bolt right on, and with the ls2 valve covers there should be no fitment issues. you need head gaskets = 12610046

I went with the Harland Sharp modified L-92 rockers for my new build its like 400.00 for the rockers and the modification. They are a nice piece. I can't see spending a grand or more for shaft rockers at this time. I was going to go with the Yella's till I saw the issue metioned above.

I paid $409 for my Yella Terras from Texas Speed. That was August of last year, so I don't know if the price has gone up or down.

One of the biggest complaints about the stock rockers was that even stock, there was a lot of clatter in my LS2...sounded like a sewing machine. After installing my L92s with Yella Terras, the valvetrain is more quiet than it was stock. I have 20,000+ miles on my setup without a problem...90,000 miles on the bottom end.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but along with a different intake manifold, if you plan to use your stock LS2 fuel rails, you will also need new injectors. At least that's what I did to use my LS2 fuel rails. I purchased the FAST 39# injectors, but you might want to go bigger if you plan on putting down more hp than say 500. Not sure what the rest of your mods/future plans are, but on the coldest days, I've seen low 70% duty on the 39#s at 438 hp.

The injectors are a different length. Depending on your cam and how cold it gets there (probably not very cold), the stock injectors might be enough. Unless you can find someone with your exact setup, the only true way to tell would be to monitor it with a tuning package. I tune with HP Tuners, and my cam only LS2 (with the cam in my sig) was running 85% duty on colder days. That's just about maxed out, so I decided on the FAST injectors made for the LS3 intake. That also bumped me up to 39# injectors and gave me a bit of breathing room.

I ran a WOT log this morning, and with the 39# injectors (cold morning) I saw 75% duty. (Smoked a BMW M3 while checking )
