Default L92 Setup Dilema

I'm swapping an L92 engine in to my 1999 Camaro Z28. I have a set of AFR 225 big bore heads and a FAST 92 intake and TB setup, that I was going to use on an LS1 engine I was going to built for my Camaro. A few days ago I was able to get a great deal on a L92 engine out of 2007 Cadillac escalade. I have 2 possible setup options for my 6.2 engine. Please let me know which one of the 2 you prefer and why.

Option 1:
Ported L92 heads
GMPP intake carb style with 92mm TB

Option 2:
AFR 225 big bore heads (2.08 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves)
FAST Intake with 92mm TB

thanks a lot for your help

make sure you get the right elbow for option 1, some of the low profile ones are restrictive. the better ones can cause fitment issues. might be better off going option 2 untill the fast l92 comes out.

I guess both are good options and if there was a better after market intake, option 1 would be the way to go... another thing I like about the AFR 225 FAST 92/92 setup is that I have more cam options...

Is there any one else out there with more feedback about both setups?

FWIW: I haven't seen super results using an elbow N/A with the L92 heads. A carb manifold with a carb style throttle body is the way to go if you've got the room. The FAST 102 may be the answer but it won't be out until late summer at best.

Just my $.02
