I guess I will thread the hole and plug the damn thing. What could it be screwing up if I did? Anyone?

if you do not have that pipe bolted to the side of the pan you will not have any oil flow in and out of your oil filter! plus even if the bolts went in you dont know if the gasket fell out or not,, either way you will be pulling the pan off or ruin your new engine!

Yeah...damn. I was afraid of this. Now why are there no threads in the exposed holes and the middle ones pluged?

the threads are in the flange on the end of the pipe assembly, if the pipe assembly got bent or moved when you installed the pan your threads on the flange would not line up with the holes

plus the bolts you have are for a different set up and probly too short to reach the flange on the pipe assy. do you have the original bolts you pulled out of the side of the pan,

dont know off hand, i would run to the hardware store and get a few that are the same thread size as what you have but longer and see if you can get them to thread into the flange and tighten up,, you might get lucky

i can get the exact size and length tomorrow at work ,, any dealer should be able to look them up for you

You will not find those bolts at the hardware store. They are very long 6mm X1.0 thread. I think they are 110mm long but not sure.

guys thank you for your help. Once I pulled my head out of my *** and located the screws, i rembered taking them out, out of curiosity, and setting them in the oil drain pan thinking" Ooh, I need to remember those".LOL Problem solved, they went str8 in. Oil pressure is steady at 40. Now to hook up the o sensors and the exhaust.
