You havent given the specs, the g5000xr200 name doesnt do anything for people who dont study the pet names of cams. You should get better results with specs....

Your sig looks like you have a stock engine. Stay in the 220s on the cam and youll be safe.

That cam is WAY too big, its not even in the ballapark.

Comps newest LSR cams would work great, agressive like an LSK lobe, but only .600ish lift. My brother went with the 223/231 .610/.617 112 (#54-457-11) for his minor bolt-on car.

I chose an LSR cam also 219/235 .607/.621 113 becasue Im running Lingenfelter CNC LS3 heads.

Camshafts have always been looked at the wrong way in my opinion. Everyone want large durations for sound, and just give up on drivability, tuneability, vacuum, and general overall manners of car.

The way to go is short duration with lots of lift. You get all the area under the curve, but keep the manners.

Agreed 100% Higher Lift will give you more peak power and when combined with low duration you get torque everywhere and when the torque curve broadens out the high lift from the cam picks up with hp to carry it to the cams max ability to make power at its optimal rpm. Love the S10 BTW!
