Lq9 w/ torquer v3?

How would an lq9, with lq9 heads, with torquer v3 cam and ls6 intake run? Just running through options for my next setup.

Just fine. I assume you're talking about 317 castings? an LS6 intake won't work if it has the truck accessories, but if you swap eveyrthing from your f-body to it, it'll be fine.

I've heard that the lq truck intakes flow really close to the ls intakes. I've heard that it really isn't worth it to swap from a truck intake to any lsx intake.

i believe they have better lower end torque, but for horsepower w/o sacrificing lower end you can't beat the ls6

He is putting this motor in his trans am guys, so he needs to use one of the car intakes

Hotrod magazine did intake comparison back 2007 on a 6.0 LQ9 .They compared all the car intakes ,truck intake and FAST 90. The dyno results for the truck vs LS-6 were virtually the same with only a slight gain to the LS-6 across the board in all rpm ranges in both hp tq ratings.

It will fell good... I had LQ9, 243's, Torquer v2 and LS6 Intake. Dude my car felt like a monster also my car is a 6 speed so that helped a little. If I were you I would look for some 243's or mill you 317's down to raise your compression. Trust me you will like the difference and is definetly worth it.
