05 and newer engines to my knowledge will have the 58x reluctor wheel.

A quick way to tell if it needs to be changed is by checking the reluctor wheel itself to see If it has 2 rows of teeth. If it does have 2 rows of teeth on it, it's a 24x ls1 style reluctor wheel and it's what you need.

The 58x reluctor wheels will only have 1 set of teeth. (Not 2 rows of teeth)

If for any reason you end up with a 58x reluctor wheel and you can't get a 24x reluctor wheel you can always buy a converter box from Lingenfelter for around $250.00.

Also, the reluctor wheel has to be pressed onto and off of the crankshaft in case you didn't know. Most shops will charge roughly $75.00-$125.00 to do this.
Hope that helps....

Most '06s should be 58x...and yeah just check the crank sensor...Black= 24x Grey=58x.....If it is 58x you can just buy a convertor box from Lingenfelter...That would be easier than disassembling the entire engine...
