In NC the guys at RPM used a LS7 block in their nitrous racecar for a couple of seasons with no problem, and now their upgrading to a world warhawk block which is also aluminum.

Im gonna say 408 since youll be spraying & then pick a N/A cam that will also work well with spray. If you were staying all motor, then go with the 418. The difference of 10 cubes isnt much at all, so I would go with a 427 ls3 if I was going N/A.

Not to name drop or nut hug... but Tony Bischof is the one who specd it out... and if you know who that is, you know he has more than enough experience to be able to determine that.

"If you plan on using over a 150 HP shot of nitrous or more than 10 psi of boost via forced induction, we recommend our TSP 402 cid LS2/L76. The 4.00" stroke will allow for lowered ring lands and a thicker piston top to take the abuse of power-adders."
Quoted straight from the TSP website so a 150 shot would be right on the borderline but it seems safe according to TSP.
The only thing about power adders is that they get addictive and once you shoot the 150 and get to say a 10.17, you know your going to want to hit it with 200 to put you into the 9's.
