Can you press off a 58 tooth reluctor and press on a 24 tooth wheel? If not can a pcm be progammed to accept a different tooth count? Trying to keep costs low. I know they can be serviced, but not sure if compatable.

if you already have the crank out of the engine, then it is not too costly. the reluctor does have to be indexed though. then change to the correct sensor.

if the engine is not taken apart. then you can use the 58X-24X converter.....
we have those on hand...

The reluctors heat exapand off/heat shrink fit on and preferably use a tool to align/index. ECM's not changeable at this point (exception probably MAST unit), or as John @ Scoggin mentions, a Lingenfelter 58X to 24X convertor.
