FWIW, if OP's head guy tries to port based on all the different cam specs noted above (and probably below) he will grow old fast.
Hopefully OP's head guy really doesn't work from cam to port and OP is just confused about that.

Nope, it's not just you. Cam should be last....well pushrod length is really about the last thing to be determined.

To the OP, if you would like a cam spec'd for your particular app, get the head info first, what intake manifold, TB, and compression ratio along with your intended usage then contact a reputable shop to have one done. If you are interested, shoot me a PM.

Are sure the dog didn't eat it?
L92s are a little more difficult to cam properly for a number of reasons. Look for results that have been posted.
I'd probably shy away from a "reverse split".
