Default Need sensor help...cam and crank

So heres what i got: LSX block 427 going into a 2003 silverado. I am using the 24x wheel now and an ls2 front cover.

Am i going to run into problems with the different cam sensor? I'm not up to date on all the 1x, 2x, 4x cam sensor stuff.

I want to break the engine in on a stand and check for any problems at my local engine builders shop, so im planning on buying a MSD 6LS controller. Will the 24x MSD 6LS work with the ls2 cam sensor?

Or do i have to install the 58x wheel and buy the 6LS-2 to run the engine...then buy the lingenfelter 58x to 24x converter to run the engine in the truck?

Im really confused on this at the moment.

u can msd 24x box with ls2 timing cover, just have to extend cam sensor wires to cover and use ls2 timing gear. if your crank is 24x, it will run with the ls1 box. no need for ls2 box

Ok sounds good! So i shouldnt have to worry about the whole 1x, 2x, 4x cam stuff?
